How often are the exchange rates updated?
Rates are refreshed once a day from the open.er-api.com feed. The result panel shows the exact "Last updated" time for the rate you just used, so you can see how fresh it is.
Are these rates accurate enough for trading or invoicing?
No. These are daily reference rates meant for quick estimates, not the live interbank or bid/ask rates used for actual trades, transfers, or invoices. For real transactions, use the rate your bank or payment provider quotes at the time of the transfer.
How many currencies are supported?
Over 150 currencies, pulled from the same daily rates feed used for conversion. The list populates the "From" and "To" dropdowns automatically.
Can I save currency pairs I check often?
Yes. Click "Add to favorites" on any From/To pair and it is saved in your browser for one-click reuse next time — it is not sent to a server or shared across devices.
